Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown In Talks to Join 'Frozen 2'

'Westworld''s Evan Rachel Wood and 'This Is Us'' Sterling K. Brown may be heading to Arendelle soon. The two actors are reportedly in talks to voice a character in 'Frozen 2.'

Two newcomers may be making their way to Arendelle soon. Variety reports Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are in talks to join Frozen 2. The original film's stars, Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), and Josh Gad (Olaf), have already agreed to return to voice to the 2013 film's sequel. Frozen's directors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, will also be returning to direct while Lee, who's also the Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, is set to write the script. Peter Del Vecho is attached to produce.

Wood is best known for her leading role as Delores Abernathy in HBO's Westworld, and Brown has made major waves as Randall Pearson in This Is Us, N'Jobu in Black Panther, and The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The two actors are also reeling in 2018 Emmy nominations for their work as well. This won't be the first voice acting gig for either of them: Both Wood and Brown worked on an episode of Robot Chicken as Minnie Mouse and Captain Fellowes, respectively.

After five years, Frozen remains one of Disney's most successful and popular animated films after it brought in nearly $1.3 billion from the worldwide box office sales. It also won an Academy Award for Best Animated Film in 2014. It was later adapted into a Broadway play, which has also proven to be another success by earning three Tony Award nominations this year.

Frozen 2 is set to be released in theaters on Nov. 27, 2019.
