While walking home from his job at Subway in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, Deonte Lynn was reportedly stopped by a local police officer because he "didn’t like the way he was walking." Lynn uploaded footage of the baffling incident to YouTube, which was promptly discovered by Raw Story, including the officer’s eventual threats of jail time for Lynn. "I don't care," the officer is heard saying in the clip, in response to Lynn questioning the nature of the stop. "At this point, I'll tell you why you're going to jail."
In the video’s description and subsequent comments, Lynn reveals this isn’t his first time being stopped under similarly mysterious circumstances, though it is the first time such a stop has occurred at this specific shopping center:
Lynn says he was eventually released by the officer after approximately 30 minutes, though not before being subjected to a weapons search.
