Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson kept it admirably real on Friday, finally responding to the wave of requests from fans for the Baywatch star to hop into the political ring. Tweeting the good news in response to an article about his purported qualifications, Johnson said he would consider "maybe" entering the presidential race in the future. However, Johnson notes, he would be more obliged to do so if the White House set aside a special place for one of his most-prized possessions: his truck.

The article in question, which highlights Johnson's multi-party appeal, argues that a "new movement" has emerged in American politics calling for the nation's favorite earthquake battler to enter the presidential race. Though Johnson's truck-minded tweet isn't exactly a vote of approval on that proposition, it should certainly help inspire additional articles of that nature. Also, does the White House already have designated pickup truck parking zones? No clue.

As for Johnson's current presidential vibes, they will become most apparent in that aforementioned Baywatch reboot next year. The R-rated take on the TV classic, co-starring beloved DJ Zac Efron, recently confirmed a guest appearance from the lord of all lords himself: Mr. David Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff's fellow OG watcher of the bay, Pamela Anderson, hasn't confirmed a cameo but doesn't sound completely disinterested in making it happen. "I haven't turned it down completely yet," Anderson admitted to ET Canada in February, though she has turned down the filmmakers' original idea for an appearance.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson managing to get cameos from both David Hasselhoff andPamela Anderson in an R-rated reboot of Baywatch? That would actually be pretty presidential.
