All Is By My Side, the highly-anticipated upcoming Jimi Hendrix biopic starring André 3000 in the title role, will not feature any music written by Hendrix himself, Rolling Stone is reporting. This is due mostly to the fact that Hendrix's estate doesn't approve of the movie's production, so producers are officially unable to use any songs from the late musician's catalog. The film will, instead, have new recordings of The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," as well as some Muddy Waters covers, all performed by André 3000.
The film is currently shooting in Dublin, Ireland.
