Despite issues of its identity, Far Cry has developed a strong reputation for being an open-world chaos simulator, where lighting the proverbial match can easily ignite a violent firestorm of weaponized insanity in battle. Far Cry 4 looks no different. Case in point: this six minute demo of liberating a base in the Himalayan-esque mountains of the fictitious nation of Kyrat. Here you ride an elephant into an enemy stronghold (now with more elephant-smashing, though one problematically wonders if Ubisoft is just setting themselves up to get into a lot of hot water with animal rights groups, among others).
Either way, once that spark is lit here, there's stopping the tide of mayhem. Far Cry 4 launches this November.
