One special thing the Internet x foodie culture has wrought is stupidly complicated approaches to fad items like cupcakes. You know, the snack your moms hastily threw together the night before your 4th grade class' Halloween party, 'cause you forgot to tell her you told the teach you'd supply sweets for all your snotty-faced friends until the last possible second, sending her into a cabinet-slamming flour-dusting frenzy while your dad chuckled and you felt something close to guilt?
