It's called Magnifier and its tied into their Music Beta service, which we told you all about a couple months back. Google's trying to get music fans to stay active with Music Beta with a selection of editorial content and some free music to stream from curated artists.
The move isn't unprecedented for Google, which occasionally looks like an honest-to-goodness media company. In March, it launched its first digital magazine called Think Quarterly.
