Just a week after filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore sat down for an interview with Harper's Bazaar, where she talks to her longtime friend Amanda De Cadenet (the pair teamed up to create the upcoming Lifetime series “The Conversation).
Asked what scares her most in life, she says that she might be unworthy of being loved.
"I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved," she says. "That there's something fundamentally wrong with me ... that I wasn't wanted here in the first place."
Newly single, Moore also talks about what "freedom" means.
“Letting go of the outcome," she says. "Truly being in the moment. Not reflecting on the past. Not projecting into the future. That's freedom. Not caring more about what other people think than what you think … To not be defined by your wounds... That's freedom.”
