Calif. Senator Leland Yee made some unfortunate statements in a San Francisco Chronicle article last week, and we gamers became appropriately outraged. Here's what he said:
Ouch. Well it turns out his office actually called IGN to attempt to explain the statement, and the site posted the following update:
What do you think? Does this clarification makes Yee's statements seem any less obnoxious? We'd all like to know "the science" behind these issues, but does that excuse telling gamers to "quiet down" about our own rights?
