It's conspiracy theory time: redditor labonted posted this image of a pog—those little cardboard discs that we fought over when we were kids—with an image of what looks a hell of a lot like Halo's Master Chief on it.
Did Bungie take the design of the Master Chief from a pog? Is there a secret set of Halo pogs somewhere that no one knows about? Or is the Master Chief really just a generic space marine that happened to star in the right game at the right time, which would explain why other space marines before him look similar?
We'll likely never put this mystery to rest, so just add it to the pile with catching Mew in Pokemon Blue and nude cheats in Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball.
