New details about Destiny, the next game from Halo creators Bungie, have only just surfaced. But it looks as if certain aspects of Destiny have been in the works at Bungie for years. The above is an image taken from Halo 3: ODST, released in 2009, that shows what appears to be the Earth and the Moon.
But check out these story details and a few of the images that were leaked yesterday and it becomes clear what we were really looking at in ODST:
That's clearly the Traveler in that image, not the Moon. It's pretty incredible that Bungie was already planning this out years ago, likely before they'd even announced the split from Microsoft, and certainly before Halo: Reach even came out. Can you think of any other hints Bungie may have dropped in earlier games?
