Reality TV, in theory, is supposed to be an unedited look at people. Of course this is some bull that only, like, three people still believe. Still, even with clever editing tricks and all the storyboards in the world, you can get a sense of how a person is by watching them on TV—particularly when it comes to how awful they are. As we mark the end of 2013, let us reflect on which reality stars got on our nerves the most.

To those included on the list of the most annoying reality stars of 2013: Don't come for me, go work on your characters flaws. Oh, Happy New Year and all that. Consider this a helpful tip on what to put on your list of New Year's resolutions.

Kelly Price of R&B Divas: LA (TV One)

Back when Kelly Price was singing about all of the terrible people in her life, you wanted to root for her. However, after watching her act a complete fool on R&B Divas: LA, it's difficult to sympathize with the fact that her friend and her man cheated. Hell, they probably did it as a survival pact to get away from her melodramatic, mean spirited self. You might be booked, Kelly, but you blew your public image by doing reality TV. Better luck next season.

Iyanla Vanzant of Iyanla, Fix My Life (OWN)

The theme of OWN's Iyanla, Fix My Life appears to be, "What if Mama Odie from The Princess and the Frog was given a show?" I suppose there's an audience for that, but I always hated that overbearing grandma on the block who thought she could say whatever to people and I still do. Old habits die hard.

Melissa and Joe Gorga of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Bravo)

Melissa and Joe Gorga are Teresa and Joe Guidice, only without the feds watching. They're petty, jealous of Teresa's success, and are as phony as a gas station weave.

Apollo Nida of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo)

Apollo texted a woman that wasn't his wife, then repeatedly acted like it was much ado about nothing. Even better: It's a woman his wife hates. Instead of just offering a real apology, he offered one of those "I'm sorry you feel that way" fake apologies. Well, with much smaller words. Mind you, this is a guy who was in prison and now lives with an attorney and reality star with her own spin-off coming. Plus, she's about to be the Black Gomez Addams and open a funeral home. Don't be mad if Phaedra trades you in for new prison trade, Apollo.

Amina Buddafly of Love & Hip Hop (VH1)

If you knowingly decide to screw someone you know is in a relationship with someone else, why would you expect sympathy? Amina Buddafly has an alright voice, but based on her reality show antics, not even a picture of Nelson Mandela and Mother Theresa slow dancing to one of her tracks in heaven could get this woman a future in music. Good luck writing for other people.

Kirk Frost of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta (VH1)

He shamed his wife for getting pregnant and accused her of cheating when, in actuality, he was the one fooling around blatantly disrespecting her and their marriage on national TV. Kirk Frost isn't the first terrible aging man to wake up one day and think, "I'd like to be 20 again and screw everything around me without worrying about what my wife thinks." However, he is one of the very few to be so callous about it for a camera crew.

Marlo Hampton of I Dream of NeNe (Bravo)

You always need a gallon of water around when watching Marlo Hampton because she reminds you so much of the thirst. Yes, she dresses nice, and sure, she knows how to create conflict. However, she's so pressed to get a regular slot on a reality show that it's often embarrassing just to watch.

The cast of The New Atlanta (Bravo)

Despite being titled The New Atlanta, this show and its cast gave us the fictionalized version of Atlanta many viewers have already grown tired of seeing.

The Lylas of The Lylas (WE)

They are whiny, and do any of us really care about their music? Where is Solange's reality show? Hell, I'd rather watch North West drink Enfamil than watch this.

Ruben Studdard of The Biggest Loser (NBC)

Ruben Studdard has already ruined what was supposed to be his destiny of being just like Luther Vandross. Some days, he's Big Luther, while other days he's Slimmer Luther, before ultimately rounding it out to a respectful hybrid of fat and skinny. Now he's just big with no record deal.

He had a moment to at least lose weight on The Biggest Loser. But he gets eliminated twice. Also, he hated on men who shave their chest. Listen, guy, not everyone wants to walk around looking like Fozzy Bear. Respect me and my blades.

Towanda Braxton of Braxton Family Values (WE)

Towanda Braxton should have told her sister Traci about her husband's alleged infidelity before telling the rest of the country first. Also, since the beginning of this show, Towanda has tried to villify Tamar Braxton. Yes, Tamar is annoying, but she provides enough evidence of that all her own. Sister Towanda, you still sound bitter over Tamar getting most of the leads on The Braxtons' R&B album. Let go and let God book you a role in the next Madea play or something.

The Tankards of Thicker Than Water (Bravo)

This family thinks it's living by the virtures of Jesus Christ, but their ideology is more along the lines of Ronald Reagan and Scrooge McDuck. It's fine if you want to be wealthy, but don't try pass off your hard-on for capitalism as godlike.

Bruce Jenner of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!)

Bruce Jenner is the worst this year on this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, given his knack for playing the victim. Bruce-Bruce, you knew Kris had some delusions of grandeur and children to live vicariously though. Don't act brand new now. Turn on some Luther, wave a needle with Botox, and woo your woman back. You know you want to.

Reza Farahan of Shahs of Sunset (Bravo)

Reza exposed his so called best friend's drug addiction and criminal history on TV, and is presently acting all chummy with her now. Worse, he popped off on a fellow gay man for being flamboyant and told him he was embarrassing Persians. Not only is that painfully ignorant, it's also comically ironic. Like, Reza, you are the Elton John to his RuPaul, so try not to take it there ever again.

Mama Joyce of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo)

Mama Joyce may love her daughter, but there is an ice box where her heart used to be. She's going above and beyond the call of duty trying to soil her daughter Kandi Burruss' relationship with her fiance. Between calling Todd an opportunist and trying to whoop the ass of Kandi's friend and assistant, Mama Joyce needs to be sent to Florida so she can find her own man to chase away.

Rich Dollaz of Love & Hip Hop (VH1)

Rich Dollaz doesn't like it when people look to him as a clown, but if he'd just stop behaving like Bozo birthed him, he wouldn't have to worry about it. Dude, stop chasing Erica Mena, cease and desist on acts who have about as much chance at success as Tupac does of giving birth in 2013, and maybe, just maybe, you'd be able to Diddy Bop your way out of the music industry struggle.

Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo)

Bless her heart, Kenya Moore has gone above and beyond to make herself the Beyoncé of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Yet, after faking a relationship and doing the absolute most in only one season, she's now the Farrah Franklin of the group. We see how well that turned out for her. I suggest you figure something out now, Kenya, before Bravo and the ax they're carrying catch up with you.

Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo)

Porsha Stewart, or hell, Porsha Williams now, may have a right to be upset about her divorce. After all, it seems like she was raised with only two goals in mind: to be pretty and to be married. Nevertheless, she's gone out of her to paint her ex as gay. That's rather ironic, given that even after being kicked to the curb, she was still trying to repair her marriage. That makes you wonder whether or not she'd still be singing that big gay song about Kordell Stewart had he decided to take her back. But not really. The answer seems pretty obvious.

Brandi Glanville The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Bravo)

Brandi Glanville loves to boast about her bluntness, but is quick to cry foul whenever the sentiment is returned. We understand that Eddie Cibrian hurt you and everyone totally gets that you're a spit fire. Still, a wise rap group once said, "Knuck if you buck." If you can't get the madness that boomerangs back at you, buy a muzzle.

The entire cast of Big Tips Texas (MTV)

First of all, "Big Tips Texas" sounds like a drag name, but this show is not RuPaul's Drag Race. It's just lame bickering, a reality show mimicking a reality show like a picture of someone taking a picture. The women of this bar in Texas couldn't hold a candle to the drama found in the movie Coyote Ugly, and that movie is terrible. There's a reason why this show picked up no traction among social media.

Erica Mena of Love & Hip Hop (VH1)

Erica Mena realizes not everyone can handle her mouth (motherf***er), but at one point will she learn that what comes out of that mouth has consequences? She annoys the hell out of many of the people in her life—and the people watching every Monday night. Relax, relate, release, girl. It'd be good for the nerves. Yours and ours.

Carlton Gebbia of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Bravo)

For fear of offending the practicing Wiccan who has admittedly used dark magic in the past, let's keep keep it light with respect to complaints about Carlton Gebbia. So: She needs a magic spell to get the stick out of her ass. Kyle Richards is annoying, but c'mon, Carlton, not everyone thinks cockroaches and bubble bees don't deserve the fly swatter if they get violent. Get over it.

Damn, now I'm gonna wake up with one hand bigger than the other tomorrow.

Kordell Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Bravo)

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Kordell Stewart didn't want a wife, he wanted a 1950s Barbie. He belittled his now ex-wife on national television, and, let her tell it, she found out he was filing for divorce via Twitter. Not everyone may agree with Porsha's recent insinuations about his sexuality, but you can understand her anger from the social media mistake alone.

Peter Gunz of Love & Hip Hop (VH1)

After being exposed as a serial cheater who embarrassed one of the mothers of his children by waiting for a reality show to tell her that he secretly married another woman, Peter Gunz has been going on something of a faux apology tour. Faux because for all his feigning guilt, he has yet to actually come clean about any bad behavior. Instead, he blames Tara Wallace for his wayward penis. But when he's not doing that, he's talking about Tara as if she is the Patron Saint of VH1—which has to annoy his wife, Amina Buddafly. Dude, where's your chastity belt?

Ryan Serhant of Million Dollar Listing New York (Bravo)

Ryan is former soap opera actor (!) turned hand model (!!) turned realtor (!!!). He should also add pseudo frat boy and white-collar douche to that resume. These are truly the worst qualities for a person to possess. He's impossible in anything other than small, mild doses. What's not to hate?
