This week has been about as pleasant as getting a splinter in your sac while dropping a hammer on your big toe. For many people of a certain age, a part of their childhood cried out upon hearing that Robin Williams took his own life after years of dealing with severe depression. And Black folks in particular experienced pain after the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. Combine that with the horror of watching the inept but equipped Ferguson police department disrupt peaceful protests with disregard for the First Amendment, and word of yet another unarmed Black man being shot to death by a member of the LAPD, the end result is a cocktail of righteous Black rage across many timelines.
Yes, it's one of those weeks where if you're White and have a Black friend, your White guilt levels might be at peak highs. Well, unless you're BFFs with Don Lemon, who always manages to find a way to fault Black people for being Black. In any event, this week ain't really about the ha-ha — it's more to vent frustrations while using social media to organize protests — but there are some laughs to be found. Some are dark, others ooze in sarcasm, but all and all, for so many people of color, we have to find some laughter in all of this madness. Rest in peace to Michael Brown, Ezell Ford, and John Crawford III, who was shot at a Walmart for daring to wave a BB gun. America, try really hard to give us colored folk a break next week. Damn.

U-Haul Your Way Away From Racism
HuffPost Live host and admittedly naïve white man Josh Zepps tried to solve the plight of Black people in America the other day when he tweeted, "I don't mean to be naïve but, seriously... if you're black, why stay in a racist shithole Missouri town? Massachusetts is a place, y'know."
Y'know, 'cause Boston is the land of milk and honey when it comes to race relations in America. Or y'know, as if there are cities everywhere in the United States with huge signs that read, "YES, BLACK PEOPLE. COME HERE AND PROSPER. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" In response, the hashtag #JoshZeppsQuestions was formed.
No Love For Don Lemon
As you can see from the multi-generational side eyes aimed squarely at the (mostly filled with air) head of Don Lemon, the Negroes ain't here for Don Lemon and watching him be the bus driver who rolls over his own people day after day on CNN. For those wondering when others and I will stop shading him, short answer is: when he buys a clue or a muzzle. Whatever's on sale, bitches.
Gon' Somewhere, Glover
When Donald Glover wrote a haiku about how Twitter activism not working (see above), I assumed he was high. Then he returned to say that not only was he perfectly sober, he meant exactly what he said. He went on to make other points that made absolutely no sense — which only made me wish I were high instead. This woman right here, though, madam is a winner for this reply. Salute her.
Welcome to Hell
Lolo Jones is about as amusing a persona as a whiny cat at 3 a.m. Donald Glover's assertion that "Twitter activism is wack" was about as insightful as using a pointy rock as toilet paper is useful. Don Lemon offers the kind of racial commentary that makes a Klansman cum in his white sheet.
So yes, this absolutely sounds like a bar in hell. Well done.
Got My Hater Blockers On
Black Queen with the stunner shades throwing the injustice shade live and in color on CNN. What's up Don Lemon?
Altar Call
Even if you like Jhené Aiko's whispers in A-minor style of singing (and I have given her $5.99 on iTunes so I'm allowed), this is hilarious. God bless.
Bad Suits, Worse Ideas
This is the best description of those self-serving, self-loathing, know-nothing-but-tapped-to-say-everything-but-something sum'bitches who waste precious minutes on cable news that I've read all week. And shout out to George Zimmer.
The Brave Get Baes
Totally inappropriate, but laughing anyway. Also, this is the part where I insert the "100" emjoi several times over.
Major Sanders
Now, when Feminista Jones wasn't making me laugh and crave Popeye's (no shade, KFC), she was using her online presence to mobilize peaceful protests and vigils across the country in the name of Michael Brown's unjust execution under the hashtag #NMOS14. So, you know, Twitter activism can work. CC: Donald Glover.
Tired Ponytails
...and there it is, world.
