The tools available for online t-shirt design continue to improve.
I see a future where all types of people all around the world will want their images to live beyond the screen and they will be using SeeMe to do that.
SeeMe, a New York-based clothing and postcard design company, recently released their first ever iOS app thus opening the door for anyone with $32 and a picture to create their own all-over-printed t-shirt. With a reported 1,000,000+ members (200,000 of which have already designed their own shirts) and a partnership with earth-conscious shirt supplier Vapor Apparel, SeeMe may have actually found a way to separate itself from the hoards of other do-it-yourself internet-based t-shirt companies.
The app features an Instagram-esque photo newsfeed as well as several other social options to see and share designs with other users, but their end goal seems much bigger than just shirts. Founder William Etundi Jr. explains that he sees "a future where all types of people all around the world will want their images to live beyond the screen and they will be using SeeMe to do that." We'll see.
