Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour has been taking the popstar all over the world. Well, except for Canada.
While many Canadian Swifties have been begging the singer to add dates in the country, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has joined in on the fight, using altered lyrics from Swift's song "Anti-Hero" to make his point.
"It's me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So don't make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon," Trudeau wrote.
As is customary whenever a public figure does something funny, the internet was quick to respond to Trudeau's tweet.
One person asked when we could expect rebates for Taylor Swift tickets.
Others lamented over the fact that they wouldn't be able to get affordable housing.
Someone else said that Trudeau was "down bad on main."
One user compared Trudeau's tactics to the leaders of Chile and Brazil, all of whom requested Swift's presence in their respective countries.
Swift's The Eras Tour continues tomorrow and Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri. The North American leg ends Aug. 9 in Los Angeles.
