On Wednesday evening, burglars broke into Keanu Reeves' home and stole a firearm.

According to TMZ, Los Angeles police arrived at his home around 7 p.m. after they received a call about a potential trespasser.

Although they didn't find anybody during their visit, they returned to the home around 1 a.m. when an alarm rang.

The police eventually found out, via security footage, that multiple people in ski masks had smashed a window to enter the house.

TMZ also reports that the alleged burglars stole a single firearm from Reeves' home, but their sources weren't sure if they had stolen anything else.

The police are also reportedly deliberating on the source of the first call, which they think was made by someone who was scoping out the house.

This isn't the first time Reeves has dealt with unwanted visitors in his home.

Earlier this year, Reeves was granted a restraining order against someone he alleged had been stalking him and had followed him to his home. He hired a security firm to investigate the man in question after he showed up at Reeves' home six times between November 2022 and January 2023.

Despite some misfortunes with stalkers and burglars, Reeves will soon get to promote his forthcoming projects which include an Aziz Ansari-directed film and a project helmed by Jonah Hill.
