The second downloadable content (DLC) expansion for Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to hit Xbox 360 and Xbox One in Devastation on April 3. Like other Call of Duty exclusives it'll be Xbox only for a period of time, usually a month.
Devastation includes four new multiplayer maps: Behemoth, takes place on an excavator in South America; Collision, has players battling over a ship that run afoul of a bridge; Ruins takes place at a Mayan temple where gamers who complete field orders can detonate a volcano and Unearthed, which is a recreated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Dome map.
Also included is a new versatile weapon – the Ripper – which works like an SMG close up but can be converted to a assault rifle for mid-range engagement.
Best of all, a new episode of Extinction called “Mayday” will follow-up where previous Onslaught DLCepisode Nightfall ended. This time “Mayday” wraps up with a battle against a 100-foot-tall Kraken...yes a Kraken.
Devastation drops on April 3 for Xbox systems and is free for season pass-holders and will be sold separately for 14.99. Got that season pass? Then jump on and you can use the Ripper now.
