Lark Voorhies first stole our hearts as Lisa Turtle on Saved by the Bell, where she joined forces with Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley to form a Triangle Offense of beauty. From there, she graduated to appearances on In The House, and in How To Be a Player and How High. Voorhies was JET "Beauty Of The Wee"k bad, and even among that triumvirate of teen-dream hotness, she was a goddess.

Male and female children of the '90's alike will rremember May 10, 2012 as the day their childhood died. Images of a Voorhies looking slightly different emerged a few years ago, folks were stunned after seeing her Yahoo! interview interview. She looked nothing like the fallen angel we grew up worshipping, and it was heartbreaking.

Naturally, people retreated to Twitter to sound off on the cruel reminder that our childhood's are over. Most traces of the girl we wanted to take on our go-kart's as children were gone, and it was devastating. We collected some of the damage, so in between shedding struggle tears while watching old episodes of Saved by the Bell, take a look.

It's ok, we'll cry with you.

Lark Voorhies first stole our hearts as Lisa Turtle on Saved by the Bell, where she joined forces with Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley to form a Triangle Offense of beauty. She turned heads with appearances on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Martin, and from there graduated to a recurring role on In The House, and in How To Be a Player and How High. Voorhies was JET "Beauty Of The Week" bad, and even among that triumvirate of teen-dream hotness, she was a goddess.

Male and female children of the '90's alike will remember May 10, 2012 as the day their childhood officially died. Images of a Voorhies looking slightly off emerged a few years ago, but folks were stunned after seeing her Yahoo! interview yesterday. She looked nothing like the fallen angel we grew up worshipping, and it was heartbreaking.

Naturally, people retreated to Twitter to sound off on the cruel reminder that nothing lasts forever. Most traces of the girl we wanted to take on our go-kart as children were gone. We collected some of the damage, so in between shedding struggle tears while watching old episodes of Saved by the Bell, take a gander.

That's more devious than Kim K's Lotus Flour Bomber.

Dey Know

@ocbuckner

When tailoring lyrics yields astounding results. Someone should save her, but who will be the hero she needs and deserves?

(Not) Saved by the Bell

@ThroatChopU

That cuts pretty deep.

On Bended Knee

@MoneyGray

Nothing like a well-timed Boyz ll Men reference, and yes, she was that real. Throw on that flannel and reminisce.

So cold-blooded.

We share your pain.

Maia Campbell

@OfficiallyIce

Maia Campbell, another member of the All-90's Team who also appeared on In the House, fell off hard. Watching it unfold rocked the foundation of our souls.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

@losermonkey

Two pillars of our childhood eviscerated with one lethal tweet.

LeBron

@DavidDTSS

....and with that, all hope disappeared like Bron in Game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

Belding the Hutt

@sharknado

Dennis Haskins (Saved by the Bell's Mr. Belding) blew up during the mid-to-late 90's-—and not in a good way. A surprise visit on Mad Men was a reminder.

Kapowski

@aehorton

This was a matter of taste back in the 90's, but after yesterday, not so much.

Screech

@FreshAIG

That's quite the stretch. Someone was going to say it, though.

Lark vs. Jason

@KHomatose

That's going way off the deep end (especially since their last names aren't spelled the same), but just as painful as getting carved up by Camp Crystal Lake's Finest.

Faded. That's all.
