Tragedy struck in Brooklyn this morning as officials say a pregnant woman was killed after being struck by a snowplow.
According to the New York Post, the FDNY says 36-year-old Min Lin—who was nine months pregnant—was hit by the vehicle as it drove in reverse in a parking lot just before 11 a.m. this morning. The Post adds that the diver was seen in the parking lot "looking despondent."
A witness said the man had previously driven the Bobcat S250 recklessly. "He almost hit me and my wife yesterday as we were going across the street," Marvin Lopez told the Post. "I was watching him yesterday and he was driving so erratically."
The child, a baby boy, was delivered through Caesarean section at Maimonides Medical Center. The Post reports that the little boy is alive, but in critical condition.
