A patient was reportedly sexually assaulted at Harlem Hospital last week after falling asleep in the emergency room. According to the New York Daily News, the 45-year-old victim was being treated at the hospital for a foot injury on Friday when she dozed off after being given a painkiller. She awoke to a horrifying scene: 49-year-old Tyrone Brown hovering over her with his penis on her mouth.
As the unidentified woman attempted to escape, Brown reportedly urinated on her before being apprehended by hospital staff. Brown, who has a long rap sheet, was arrested and charged with committing a criminal sex act. He was transported to Bellevue for a much-needed psychiatric evaluation.
Meanwhile, the woman's family says she's worried that she may have contracted a sexually transmitted disease.
