34-year-old Jan Brawner of Parchman, Miss., was executed Tuesday after killing his 3-year-old daughter, his ex-wife, and her parents in April 2001. Worse, authorities say Brawner took his dead mother-in-law's wedding ring and used it to propose to his new girlfriend later that day. That's just downright evil.
Brawner seemed to agree, acknowledging that he did not deserve to live after the murders. Brawner's last words before the lethal injection claimed his life was an apology, and this statement: "Maybe this will bring you a little peace. Thank you."
