A deputy city attorney in Los Angeles was arrested for on child porn charges this week.
According to the Los Angeles Times, authorities had been investigating Christopher Richard Garcia for nearly a year prior to his Thursday arrest. Inappropriate images were reportedly discovered when his computer was seized in November 2013, and the Times adds that Garcia allegedly sent some of them on Apr. 2 of last year.
Garcia, who had been on administrative leave since last November's discovery, was charged with possession of material depicting minors engaged in sexual conduct and sending or bringing obscene material into the state for sale.
