Rumor has it that a Shake Shack could be opening in Harvard Square. An Eater reader snapped a quick twitpic of a Notice of Public Hearing for a potential location at 57 JFK Street. This comes a little more than a month after the Boston-area's first Shake Shack opened in Chestnut Hill last month. CEO Randy Garutti has said "We're thrilled to make Boston our new home, and we look forward to bringing Shake Shack to other compelling sites in great neighborhoods in the Boston area."
It looks like Harvard Square might be one of those compelling sites. A public hearing will be held on May 9, so we'll know soon enough.
