George Zimmerman Launches Website to Raise Money for Defense

He's going viral.

George Zimmerman has launched a website to fund his legal expenses and change the perception that his February 26 shooting of Trayvon Martin was not racially motivated. The site solicits donations through a Paypal account for Zimmerman's "living expenses and legal defense."

Maria Schiavocampo of NBC says that Zimmerman's attorneys have confirmed the site's authenticity. Here's the introduction that was posted on www.therealgeorgezimmerman.com:

Another page, called "Album" posted the "Justice For Zimmerman" image (second image) you see below this message:

However, ThinkProgress posted a version of "Album" that appeared earlier and had additional images, including one of an Ohio State University black cultural center vandalized with pro-Zimmerman messages (third image). Another section, titled "My Race," contains the Thomas Paine quote "The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion."

Zimmerman's viral campaign comes after news that a special prosecutor will not present the case to a grand jury to decide if he will be arrested.
