A man was killed in Florida yesterday after falling into a wood chipper, authorities say.
According to NBC Miami, a landscaper in Davie, Fla. was dragged through the industrial-sized machine, creating a horrific sight for witnesses. "It’s not something you can just go home and forget about," Davie Police Captain Dale Engle told the outlet, adding that he had "never seen anything like [it]."
By the time emergency responders arrived, the man was already dead. Police were left to pick up his remains while cleaning the scene. Police are still investigating, as no one is certain of the circumstances whic led to the man's horrible end.
