Netflix has been teasing its highly anticipated television series Marvel’sThe Punisher for quite some time now, releasing videos, trailers, and photos left and right. But Netflix has consistently left one major detail out of its promotion of the show: the release date.

However, a Reddit user found a small detail in his issue of the U.K. film magazine Total Film that appears to reveal the release date. While neither Netflix nor Marvel have confirmed or denied the information, it looks like the anticipated premiere of the show is coming a lot sooner than you might think. According to one line in a magazine feature, The Punisher is coming to Netflix on October 13.

None

Before this, the only other crumb of information about when The Punisher would be released came from Dearbhla Walsh, who has directed at least one episode of the series. In an interview with  Hollywood Reporter, Walsh said the series would air in November. And while October 13 and November aren't exactly the same time, Walsh's interview was published in May, so it's not entirely unlikely that Netflix would have moved the release date up by a couple weeks.

The Punisher will be a Netflix original series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) about Frank Castle, a lethal vigilante who fights crime as "The Punisher." The project was greenlit in May 2016 as a Daredevil spin-off and will see Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Castle, with Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah, among others, slated to star in the show as well.
