JWoww of ‘Jersey Shore’ Files for Divorce

Jenni “JWoww” Farley, who gained popularity from her involvement in the MTV reality show ‘Jersey Shore,’ has filed for divorce from her husband, Roger Mathews.

Jenni Farley, better known as "JWoww" from the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, has filed for divorce from her husband of less than three years, Roger Mathews. Farley cites irreconcilable differences in her filings, which were submitted on September 12.

"The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation," she states in her complaint, according to the Asbury Park Press.

Their marriage was rumored to have hit a rough patch when Mathews posted a lengthy message on Instagram back in January addressing their roller-coaster relationship from the time they met in 2010. Roger claimed that JWoww was going through a mid-life crisis when she left to film Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in Miami, and she left him for "a really jacked dude from the club." He went on to say that those allegations were made up, and he was "blessed to have what we have and grateful for it."

The allegations of infidelity and a mid-life crisis appeared to be all in jest. However, the post was published just a few months before their marriage started to experience a considerable breakdown that would result in JWoww filing for divorce. Farley is seeking joint custody of their two children but wants to have primary residential custody. She is also seeking "equitable distribution of all property acquired during the marriage."
