Sometimes, it's hard to part ways with those beat up Chucks. Apple may be able to help you with your dilemma. That's because the company has filed for a patent which will let you know when you should go out and buy a new pair. In the above image, you can see that these "smart shoes" come with embedded sensors, located in the heel, that track your activity.
