Yesterday was judgment day for all of New York City's bucket-sized sugary drinks. Any sweetened drink above 16 oz. will be banned everywhere from restaurants to movie theaters—any establishment that receives a graded inspection from the health department. Even though Mayor Bloomberg dropped the ban-hammer, the actual restrictions won't go into effect for another six months; however, that hasn't stopped the denizens of Twitter from voicing their anger and concerns over diminishing American freedoms.
