NBC’s short-lived reboot of Fear Factor will come to an end as a regular series after a controversial stunt was deemed too graphic to be aired, according to Deadline. The episode, which was supposed to air tonight, featured a stunt where contestants had to drink a mug full of donkey urine and semen in order to move on to the next round.
Aside from a two hour Fear Factor special scheduled to air on February 12, the future of the show is now in doubt following this controversy.
The details of the stunt were uncovered by TMZ, where they were quickly made public. Titled “Hee Haw! Hee Haw!”, the episode will be replaced by a repeat of the show that originally aired earlier this year. NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt addressed the situation with this statement: “I reviewed the episode late last week and decided it was a segment we should not air.”
So these contestants basically chugged a mug of donkey spunk for no reason. We hope they at least got a complimentary toothbrush after the stunt.
