J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars Episode VII won’t be the only movie set in George Lucas’ multi-million dollar franchise to come out over the next few years because we know that Disney is also tinkering with the idea of putting various spin-off projects into production to milk the franchise even further. And according to Ain’t it Cool, the first one of these stand-alone Star Wars movies might star the Master Jedi himself, Yoda.
There aren’t any details other than that at this time, but with Yoda being over 900-years-old during the original trilogy, a solo movie has a lot of ground to cover. Plus, he’s the type of character that is easy to market to young kids and old-timers alike. Remember, this is nothing more than a rumor at this point, but don’t be surprised if we’re seeing at least one Star Wars related film coming out per year, in addition to the new main trilogy.
