Ever wonder why some of your photos on social media get more likes than others? (One: being attractive helps. #SadFace.)
MIT PhD candidate Aditya Khosla came up with an algorithm that will predict if your photo will be popular or not. He analyzed 2.3 million Flickr photos to get his results, and of course, there are a lot of variables: it considers how many followers you have, how many hashtags are used in a photo, the length of the caption, and if a woman in a mini-shirt is present. To find out if your photo will break the Internet like Bieber, head to his site to use the tool, and you'll get a rating from one to 10. Or you could just upload photos for yourself and not care about how many likes it gets.
