Tommy Chong Says He's Smoking Even More Weed Now That He Has Cancer Again

After being diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2012, Tommy Chong has revealed he's now battling rectal cancer. The stoner icon shared his condition with Us Weekly and revealed his marijuana intake has somehow increased because of it. "I'm using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before," Chong said. "I'm in treatment now. I've been—just the case either way, either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I’m going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."

Marijuana isn't the only thing providing Chong comfort in his battle. The comedian said Joel S. Goldsmith's Spiritual Power of Truth has been pivotal to him. "It's what’s kept my head up," Chong said. "So that's my book."

Here's to hoping Chong beats cancer and stays stoned every step of the way. This should only fuel his legalization advocacy even more.
