The 41-year-old 'Empire' star, Derek Luke, recently took to Instagram to slam his followers after noticing several comments on his social media that scrutinized him for having a wife who is not a black woman. Addressing the criticism of interracial marriages, Luke reminded his followers that criticism of two people for being in an interracial relationships is something we should live in the past.
According to his response, his wife is Hispanic and he loves her either way:
Luke's wife's name is Sophia Adella Luke and they have been married for 17 years.
