Batman and Wolverine can never be in the same room at the same time; it's just too much badass in one place at one time.

It's happened once before in the mid '90s when DC and Marvel joint published a series of comics that served as a parallel cross multiversal event. The series was part of the Amalgam universe that merged characters from the respective Marvel and the DC universes. Batman and Wolverine were blended together into a singular character named Dark Claw.

He reeked of '90s excess.

The intrepid blacksmiths over at Man at Arms have created Batman's gauntlets with Wolverine claws, but instead of Wolverine's blades they're using battarangs. You basically end up with the some Game of Thrones level Renaissance Fair cosplay that bear more than a passing resemblance to Dark Claw.

Check out the video above to see just how the gauntlets get designed.
