Powering your gadgets on and off during takeoff and landing may be one of the most tedious things flight passengers are required to do. However, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) may soon put an end to that.
The New York Times reports the FAA is looking into making it so passengers are only asked to put electronics such as Laptops and e-Readers on airplane mode during the time of takeoff and landing.
These changes will happen unless scientific proof is presented that proves why electronics can't be used during certain times of a flight. According the to The New York Times, the findings will be revealed July 31st, 2013. Unfortunately, cell phones will still be a definite no-no.
