After making a name for himself as a good guy following an extended run on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Vincent D’Onofrio has decided to change teams and try a little bit of bad on Netflix’s Daredevil.

His character will be Wilson Frisk, who also goes by the villainous alter ego of Kingpin. He is “a powerful businessman whose interests in the future of Hell’s Kitchen will bring him into conflict with the blind attorney Matt Murdock and his alter ego Daredevil,” according to a Netflix statement.

The show will star Charlie Cox as the titular character, and will run for 13 episodes sometime in 2015. For D’Onofrio, it will be the first in several villainous turns next year; he’s also slated to be the central villain in Jurassic World.

So, for sake of overview, next year we’ll see someone who used to lock up criminals fight a blind guy and help dinosaurs kill people. What happened, Vincent?
