Whenever a childhood icon like Mary Poppins talks about going topless, we’re going to listen in rapt (and somewhat horrified) attention.
This all went down on BBC America’s The Graham Norton Show, where the host brought together Julie Andrews, Jonah Hill, and Channing Tatum to discuss on-screen nudity. Apparently, Andrews went topless in Blake Edwards’ 1981 comedy S.O.B., a fact that absolutely stunned and riveted Hill.
Andrews really seems to have a good grip on all the logistics of on-screen nudity, including ideal temperatures for shooting said scenes and why you don’t want the room to be too cold. The real treat of this video is watching Tatum react to everything, as the normally loquacious actor appears to have been stunned to silence by the surreal conversation taking place around him.
