Tragedy struck over the weekend, as TV and fitness personality Greg Plitt was hit and killed by a commuter train while filming a commercial in Burbank, Calif.
Plitt was with a small camera crew at a set of fenced in train tracks not intended for public access. While it’s not clear exactly what happened, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Plitt had gained a measure of notoriety as a member of the cast of Bravo’s reality series Workout, which followed fitness trainers and models in California. He was slated to be involved with the network’s upcoming series Friends to Lovers, which begins later this month.
The network and Andy Cohen both took to Twitter to express their condolences and share their memories of Plitt:
This is a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Greg Plitt's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

We couldn't take our eyes off Greg Plitt after we cast him on "Work Out"-was as nice as he was beautiful. Seemed invincible, like Superman
