According to a Harris Interactive poll from 2012, one in five American adults send explicit text messages. This shouldn't come as a surprise. Whether it's through AIM, gChat, email, or text message, people will find a way to talk dirty to one another. And while most people associate sexting with younger folk, the poll also revealed that one in five parents have gotten in on the action, as well. So, you see: Everyone's doing it.
