After picking up the Oscar for The Social Network soundtrack, Trent Reznor seems to be hungering for more. In addition to scoring David Fincher upcoming adaptation of Stieg Larsson's The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, it appears that the Nine Inch Nails frontman will also be handling music for Timur Bekmambetov's adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter.

Even more intriguing: Badass Digest reports that the nightstalking singer may step in front of the camera for the first time to play the vampire responsible for "turning" Abraham Lincoln's mother Nancy. That significant historical event is what starts Honest Abe (played by Benjamin Walker) on his lifelong quest to vanquish evil supernatural hordes. It looks like the "too fucked up to care anymore" Reznor is having some fun.

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter is currently slated for release on June 22, 2012.
