We're all acutely aware that this Sunday is Father's Day. We've been shopping online at work for days now, after realizing that we hadn't gotten our dads anything yet. After all, they deserve the extra postage we'll spend on rush delivery; our fathers are probably the ones to blame for our forgetfulness, butt-chin and short attention spans in the first place. But of course, that's just a generalization.
We're definitely privy to the fact that not all dads are baseball-catching, Sunday barbecuers who raise well-rounded kids. Rather, some are love-child-bearing, mesh-shirt-wearing, tell-all-interview-giving D-bags responsible for the emotional turmoil of their children. And some of those children include a few of the most recognized female celebrities today.
Some have turned out to be bright and shining superstars, while other, infamous public figures haven't fared as well (see: Lindsay Lohan). Yet one thing these particular celebs do all have in common: They're all ridiculously attractive. So, as you get ready to spend some time with pops this weekend, share the following beauties, a.k.a. The 10 Hottest Women With Daddy Issues, with him. He'll not only feel better about himself, but also have some beautiful women to ogle. Two for one, folks.

10. LEANN RIMES
It's the classic "Child Star" story. By the age of sixteen, and already a Grammy-winning superstar, Rimes tried to take control of her career away from her show-dad. She sued, having recently found out that he and his partner took $7 million of her earnings, and he counter-sued. A week before her wedding, however, Rimes tried to settle the suit so her estranged father could join her at the ceremony. A somewhat happy ending.
Adele

Through Adele's self-written ballads, it's obvious that she has experienced some turmoil in her life. Her father, Mark, who was estranged from Adele during her teen years, says that her lyrics come from her difficult childhood.
After Mark and Adele's mother split up when she was four, he moved away, and never paid child support. When she was 11, Mark became an alcoholic and completely absent from her life. Recently, though, he has curbed his drinking and is trying to reconnect. He picked a good time, considering that Adele owns pop radio these days.
Christina Aguilera
8. CHRISTINA AGUILERA
After Aguilera became rich and famous, her biological father came out of the woodwork wanting to reconnect. Xtina's mother left the abusive Fausto Aguilera while their daughter was young, and the emotional scars are still the focus of her songs "I'm OK" and "Oh, Mother". The only time Aguilera regretted the "non-existent" relationship was when she had no one to walk her down the aisle.
Bijou Phillips
7. BIJOU PHILLIPS
High on the list of "Most Shocking" is the story of Bijou Phillips, her half-sister Mackenzie, and their father John Phillips (founder of the rock group Mamas and the Papas). On the Oprah Winfrey Show Mackenzie revealed that she had a consensual incestuous relationship with her father. There's a bit of gray area, though, where some members of the family side with Mackenzie and others call her a liar.
Bijou, who had been living with John since she was three, was told about the abuse when she was thirteen. Yet, shortly after Mackenzie told her, Mackenzie took it back and denied her claim. And you thought your fam had drama.
Miley Cyrus
6. MILEY CYRUS
Even though the oddly posed, uncomfortable, "Should you be taking pictures like that with your dad?" Vanity Fair photoshoot made Miley and Billy Ray seem stronger than ever, the elder Cyrus started causing a split in their relationship soon after. Not only did he compare her to Anna Nicole Smith but he attacked Disney, who made him relevant again, saying that Hannah Montana destroyed his family.
Maybe it was her salvia incident that broke his achy breaky heart, but Miley felt betrayed that her father's comments seemed to come out of nowhere. And then, naturally, she started taking sexy Twitpics and hugging poles at awards shows. Not a bad way to cope, huh?
Angelina Jolie
5. ANGELINA JOLIE
After a seven-year rift, Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie finally reconnected. He told US Weekly that they talk, but not regularly, and the important thing is that they love each other.
Earlier, though, Voight had told Access Hollywood that he disapproved of Jolie's lifestyle and wished she would get help for her emotional problems. The problem is, Jolie had already adopted her son, Maddox, and the accusation could have endangered her custody of little man.
Lindsay Lohan
4. LINDSAY LOHAN
It seems like every other week, Michael Lohan is doing something insane with the idea that he's helping Lindsay. MiLo continues to make public announcements about Lindsay's need for rehab, or where her career will take her next, while LiLo doesn't even speak to him.
One time, allegedly, Michael tried to break into her apartment while she hid in the closet, but he left before police were called. We agree that Lindsay does need to get her career back on track, but we completely agree with her for disowning the dude.
Halle Berry
3. HALLE BERRY
During a taping of Bravo's Inside The Actor's Studio, Berry opened up about her childhood with an alcoholic and abusive father. While never the victim herself, she often witnessed him attacking her mother and sister. Berry is now a supporter of many charities for battered women, including the L.A.-based Jenesse Center, where women go for protection and to learn ways how to break the patterns of abuse. Is it wrong, then, that we're thinking fantasizing about a dominatrix-like Berry (thanks to the above photo)? Nope, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that pic.
Rihanna

Growing up, Rihanna's father was a drug addict. Although they've had a strained relationship, RiRi has talked about how she has tried to fix their connection. After the Chris Brown incident, Ronald Fenty, her pops, went to the press to discuss the abuse, without actually talking to Rihanna. He went to the media, got a check, and, according to his daughter, didn't even call to see if she was still alive. What a guy.
Beyonce

Since her Destiny's Child days, Beyonce has been managed by her father, Matthew Knowles. Recently, however, the two ended their business partnership, after word surfaced that Matthew had fathered a love child with a woman he'd been with secretly for eighteen month. There was even fear at Beyonce's label, Columbia, that the news would hurt her career.
Fortunately, she was able to move on without her familial problems leaving a trace of damage to her career. And with a new album, 4, on the horizon, she's about to shut the game down once again.
