Twelve-year-old Rebecca Sedwick leaped to her death from a tower on Sept. 9 after she was repeatedly cyber-bullied by two girls, age 14 and 12.
The Lakeland, Fla., pre-teen was bullied online and at least once in person for previously dating the 14-year-old's boyfriend. The teens sent harassing messages to Rebecca calling her "ugly," demanding her to "drink bleach and die," and encouraging Rebecca to kill herself. After Rebecca did commit suicide, instead of the teens expressing regret for their actions or displaying any type of remorse, the 14-year-old went to Facebook to boast about her involvement in Rebecca's suicide, posting the following:

It might be hard to read, so here is what she posted in the status update, free of spelling mistakes: "Yes I know I bullied Rebecca and she killed herself, but I don't give a fuck."
Yes I know I bullied Rebecca and she killed herself, but I don't give a fuck.
The Polk County sheriff's office said that they have charged both of the girls as juveniles for felony aggravated stalking on Monday, adding that the "malicious harassment" by the girls likely pushed Rebecca to commit suicide. Yet, because they're juveniles and don't have a previous record, it is unlikely the two girls will serve any jail time, the sheriff's office said. As of the time of the arrest, the 14-year-old's parents were allowing her to go online. One sheriff said, "She's right back online doing the same kind of things again."
