Pete Davidson rang in the new year with some laughs.

On Monday night, the Saturday Night Live star delivered a standup routine that included shots at disgraced comedian Louis C.K. Davidson told the audience about the time C.K. blasted him for smoking too much weed while on the set of SNL

"[C.K.] told all the producers in front of me that, 'All this kid does is smoke weed and he’s gonna smoke his career away,'" Davidson recalled. He added that C.K. also told SNL boss Lorne Michaels, "that Pete smokes so much weed that it makes people uncomfortable."

The irony is almost too much to handle.

"Then five years later this motherf**ker’s been locking doors and jerking off in front of people," Davidson went on to say.

C.K., who appeared on SNL as recently as April 2017, was clearly in no position to complain about Davidson making "people uncomfortable." The 51-year-old has admitted that he engaged in sexual misconduct with multiple women.

"These stories are true," he wrote in statement posted on social media. "I have been remorseful of my actions. And I've tried to learn from them. And run from them. Now I’m aware of the extent of the impact of my actions."
