Not Cool: 'Village Idiots' Take Selfies With Burning NYC Building

Some people in New York just don't understand that taking a selfie in front of a burning building is not cool.

When the New York Post is the one calling you sleazy, you've probably hit rock bottom. 

That photo of  seven smiling women cheerfully posing for a selfie (via selfie stick) in front of the burning remains of an East Village apartment building that exploded and collapsed on Thursday is apparently real, and it's infuriating.

Unbelievably, it wasn't the only one. There was this one:

And this (according to the person who tweeted it) is a reporter, who for some reason just had to be in the photo.

More than 20 people were reportedly injured in the blast, four of them critically, and two people who remain missing are feared dead. 

Please people, a little awareness for the world outside your own body when you're taking photos of your own body goes a long way.
