With another sizzling season of The Burger Show on his menu, Chef Alvin hit the road and traveled nearly 3,000 miles to Long Beach, CA for ComplexCon. There, he and Simple Mobile set up shop to give attendees and viewers a virtual reality experience into the world of burger making and a chance to kick it with the food expert himself.
Chef Alvin held meet-and-greets with foodies and fans throughout the weekend and recapped some of his favorite moments from season 5—from judging the savory flavors of a pop-up Smash Burger with Tiffani Thiessen and Seth Rogan to going beast mode on a $1,200 burger with Marshawn Lynch. Sneaker creator Dominic "The Shoe Surgeon" Ciambrone made a surprise appearance with his daughter in hand, watching burgers come to life in the VR adventure. By the end of the weekend attendees who visited the booth had gotten a taste of what it's like to be part of The Burger Show.
