It may be cold outside, but Netflix is getting ready to warm things up with its new fantasy series, The Witcher. In anticipation of what’s sure to be a mythical run, the streaming service took over Hollywood’s Egyptian Theater Tuesday night (December 3) to introduce fans to the world of The Witcher, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s series of books. Determined to attend this interactive fan experience and private screening, fantasy enthusiasts lined up outside the theater, patiently waiting for entry despite LA's overcast skies.

To help bring a night of magic and monsters to life, three of social media’s go-to fantasy fans—Mac Kahey @MacDoesIt, Sarah Rhoades @the.blonde.jedi, and Steve Zaragoza @stevezaragoza—arrived in style. Mac wasted no time getting in on the fun, taking a seat and grabbing a pic at The Witcher's long, medieval banquet table.

Throughout the experience, influencers and fans explored The Witcher’s universe, which included a blood-spattered feasting hall, as well as a smoky, candlelight bathtub chamber, where many fans captured their must-have photo moments. Steve even took the night to the next level, rocking some vintage dwarf cosplay.

Beyond those rooms, Sarah created her own one-of-a-kind photo moment, as she struck an epic pose in front of the rocky terrain of The Continent with a sword in each hand.

Before fans sat down to watch the first episode of Netflix’s new series, the cast walked the red carpet, where stars Freya Allan (Ciri), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), Adam Levy (Mousesack), and Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia) all appeared for photos.

Television has had a void to fill since saying goodbye to Game of Thrones earlier this year, but at the end of the screening, fan responses confirmed that The Witcher will accomplish that and then some.

Before bidding farewell to an evening of fantasy and magic, attendees engaged in The Witcher trivia, received swag from The Continent, and watched as Henry Cavill unexpectedly pulled Steve up for a send-off photo op.

And, if you didn't get the invite, here's all the fun you missed!
