The winner of a Pedro Pascal lookalike contest in New York City this past weekend completely nailed the look of the beloved star of The Last of Us.

As reported by Deadline, the contest was held at the Son Del North Mexican in the Lower East Side on Sunday (June 15). The restaurant took umbrage with Pascal's claim that there's no good Mexican food in New York City.

The winner of the contest was Brooklyn father George Gountas, who was deemed to have the closest resemblance to Pascal and appeared very happy in videos from the event as he was crowned the winner.

Gountas walked home with $50 and a year's supply of burritos.

Gountas is a lighting designer for The Daily Show, and his wife, Jenny Gania, told the New York Post that she took her husband to the contest because she's often compared her husband to the Chilean-American heartthrob.

“It started when the Game of Thrones came out the first time—that’s when we first heard it,” Gania said. “Then some kids started noting it, too ... When we saw this [contest], I was like, ‘It’s Father’s Day. You have to go. It’s going to be your Father’s Day treat.’ It’s funny, because he’s not on social media at all. But now he’s going to be everywhere.”

The lookalike contest comes after a similar one was hosted for Timothée Chalamet lookalikes last year, which the Dune star himself crashed. Similar contests have been held for people who look like Drake and The Bear star Jeremy Allen White, among others.
