Taylor Swift recently appeared on Fallon, and the audience was treated to a video of the singer high on painkillers following Lasik eye surgery. In the clip, Swift can be seen crying over a banana before she attempted to eat said fruit in bed.

In a brief moment on an Instagram Live session, Hailey Baldwin filmed her husband Justin Bieber playfully recreating the moment.

Once fans of Taylor Swift caught wind of the moment, they began to criticize the couple on Twitter. Seemingly bewildered by the extent of the reaction to the brief moment, Baldwin responded to one Swift fan calling her a "flop" in a video rant. "I never knew I could make somebody so upset," she wrote in response. "Truly I'm so sorry you're THIS upset?! Lord have mercy I hope I'm never this upset about someone I don't know!!"

In a pair of follow-up tweets directed at the Swift fan directly, Hailey added, "I think it's awesome how passionate you are and how hard you ride for someone you're a fan of, it's beautiful how dedicated you are." Hailey apologized for any possible hurt she might have caused and added, "I'm sorry, it's not my intention to upset you by any means."

She did, however, make sure the fan knew the comments weren't taken kindly. "Being angry at someone you don't know does nothing for you. I know cause I been there," she continued. "All it's gonna do is make you miserable. Don't let ME of all people get you feeling that way. Trust me, I'm not worth the energy, nobody should be worth that energy!"

Taylor Swift fans have had issues with Justin Bieber ever since he defended his manager Scooter Braun, who bought her catalog for $300 million earlier this year. Swift addressed the situation in a statement, calling it her "worst case scenario." The Biebs, however, criticized T-Swift for attacking Scooter on social media.

In the same stream from Hailey, Justin Bieber confirmed he'll be putting out a new single "soon." He also promised fans that a new full-length album will arrive before the end of the year.

In other news, Hailey took to IG to thank Virgil Abloh and Off-White for her wedding dress. "@virgilabloh thank you for making my vision come to life and creating my dream dress," she wrote in the post. "You and your @off____white team are incredible and I’m forever grateful I got to wear your beautiful creation."
