Today may be the greatest July 4 in July 4 history. Why? Jay-Z released his brand new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. At exactly 12:01 p.m. EST, Magna Carta Holy Grail debuted exclusively to one million Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, and Galaxy Note II owners who downloaded the "Magna Carta Holy Grail" Android app from the Google Play Store. Though many 'Droid users experienced some technical issues when the clock struck midnight, fans did not miss out on the exclusive album preview. Hot 97's very own Funk Flex took to the airwaves and made a movie premiered Jay-Z's latest offering in its entirety live on New York radio. Twitter definitely tuned in.
Whether or not tonight it was a success, we do know the album was heard. And thanks to Twitter, we got an earlier consensus of what people think of Jay's newest body of work.
